Fashion Not only for Wardrobes but Fashion for Home As Well
Having just moved into a new apartment, my best friend is just starting out and therefore doesn't have much in the way of furniture. Once we were through putting away the things she does have, clothing, etc., we turned to look at the empty space of her living area. While musing on what she'd like to do with it, having just finished dealing with all her clothes, she came up with the notion of going about furnishing her space applying her sense of fashion for clothes toward a sense of fashion for home! I encouraged her to go with that tack! She's starting out with a couch and has looked online, such as for designer sofas from Fashion for Home. So far, this notion is helping her have a vision and keep a harmonized approach to acquiring the variety of pieces she'll need in such a way that they all work together well. She's using an approach of creating a good solid base, like a great dress, and then adding accessories, starting with the most critical, then on to the purely decorative…which, of course, have their importance for creating a welcoming ambiance.
